The cost is so high for not teaching children about Jesus. My mom learned about Jesus from her Sunday School teacher as a young girl. Abused by an alcoholic father, who did not attend church…she somehow made it to their little country church every week. It was there she learned about Jesus and how much God loved her. I found this penned in her writings after she died about her early years at Sunday School, “I learned that God loved me as much as everyone else.” Her Sunday School teacher gave her the best gift ever…Jesus, and a Father who loved her. My mom became a Sunday School teacher herself as an adult. Although she has went home to be with Jesus…I can still see her leading music for our small Sunday School class in the sanctuary.

Sadly, the devil has fooled many that taking their children to church and Sunday School is not important. Teaching them about God is not a priority. Those precious children will slip into hell for eternity, but have a good life here.

Thank you to the Sunday School teachers who show up every Sunday. Keep cheering for the parents who make the effort to get their children to a Bible teaching church. Praising God for those who pray for the salvation of children who aren’t their own. God sees. The difference you are making will last for eternity.
