Unity Day is on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, and is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. The day is a call to action to wear and share the color orange to show support for bullying prevention and to send a message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

Here are some ways to get involved with Unity Day:
🔸Wear orange: Wear orange to show your support for bullying prevention.
🔸Turn landmarks orange: Light up local bridges or buildings, or decorate a school or community symbol orange.
🔸Create a social media campaign: Use social media to spread awareness about kindness and inclusion.
🔸Make posters: Create posters to raise awareness.
🔸Participate in activities: Participate in classroom projects, discussions, unity walks, and other school-wide activities.

The National Bullying Prevention Center (NBPC) has a Unity Day Guide with ideas for getting involved and other information.
