📣⚠️SCAM ALERT

has received several messages from customers this morning who have received either a text or email claiming to be from the Clerk's Office related to an unpaid traffic violation. If you receive a similar message, THIS IS A SCAM. The picture attached to this post is an example of the scam message some have received.

The Clerk's Office would never demand money to avoid an additional fine/jail in this manner. If you do receive such a message, please do not respond to it! You can also always visit our court records page available at core.duvalclerk.com to determine if there are any valid traffic cases open under your name.

Unfortunately, this is not a new type of scam attempt. Information on this, and other attempted scams, can be found on the Clerk's scam alert page available at www.duvalclerk.gov/scams
