has received several messages from customers this morning who have received either a text or email claiming to be from the Clerk's Office related to an unpaid traffic violation. If you receive a similar message, THIS IS A SCAM. The picture attached to this post is an example of the scam message some have received.

The Clerk's Office would never demand money to avoid an additional fine/jail in this manner. If you do receive such a message, please do not respond to it! You can also always visit our court records page available at core.duvalclerk.com to determine if there are any valid traffic cases open under your name.

Mortgage applications fell 10.5% for the week ending March 20, the second straight weekly decline, as rates climbed to 6.22%, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. Purchase applications dropped 5% week over week but were still 5% higher than a year ago. Refinance applications fell 15% but remain 52% above year-ago levels. Rates remain below the 6.67% average from the same period last year.
