Today at the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center, these values were on full display as the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) hosted its October Board Meeting — highlighted by the ceremonial signing of an agreement to establish HOLON’s first U.S. production facility and national headquarters right here in Jacksonville!
Set to break ground in April 2026 at Eastport Industrial Park, this state-of-the-art facility will manufacture the HOLON urban — an electric, next-generation autonomous shuttle designed for public transportation and a cornerstone of the JTA’s Ultimate Urban Circulator (U²C) program.
During construction, the project is projected to generate more than $200 million in local economic impact and create close to 800 jobs, fueling both innovation and opportunity across Northeast Florida.
The future of mobility is being built right here in Jacksonville. 🌎⚡
