Remember---HOA Annual Meeting and election of Officers Tues September 15 , 2026 6 pm . we will meet on Sago Shores Island--bring a chair. If weather is not cooperating we will meet at 3680 Shawnee Shores. We still need a Secretary--please support the HOA. We will also present the 2027 budget. Secretary candidates needs a background check and complete a online small course required by HOA. Very easy to complete after the election

Just a reminder that Hoa elections are just around the corner. We need to elect a new secretary. If you are interested, please let us know. We need to fill these positions. You will need to take a required class for Hoa rules and regulations and also if you are signing on the account at the bank, you will need a background check due to our insurance requirements. It is really not hard to get certified. Please consider helping us out and keeping us current with regulations. We NEED YOU

National Night Out is the first Tues in August, I could possibly be out of town. This is our 32nd year--missed one due to hurricane. If you would like the details on how to host it and want to host it, please contact me. This is thru the Neighborhood Watch Program and not just HOA function. We have been with the Neighborhood Watch Program since it was formed with the city/police.

It's Spring! With lack of rain and watering restrictions, many may need to rethink their landscaping needs. Remember for any dramatic changes please get approval. Also Duval County Extension Center along with U of Fl can help make your lawn and landscape Florida Friendly. Contact them or I can help you with it (Coleen)--less water, less fertilizer, right plant, right place, less turf-lawn and Florida Native plants--designed to save you money and labor

Remember our Garage Sales this Sat--spread the word on social media. Also a BIG thank you to Alex who helped put in new edging around our front entrance and helped mulch and even supplied some We will complete it this week.
Alex and his lovely, talented family are new to our area and a great neighbor. He has remade his front yard and it is looking great. Please take time to introduce yourself to them. They are very excited to be a part of New mill Cove East. Welcome!

Annual Neighborhood Garage Sales--Saturday March 14, 2026 8 am till 1 pm. Each family does their own sale. Signs will be put out and we will be on FB Marketplace and Craigs list. Feel free to post on those sites also if you have pictures of certain items you want to sell. Have fun and be safe--there will be a lot of traffic so please watch our little ones
