Angela Farford received her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of North Florida in 2005 and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. For a decade, Angela has been representing clients throughout the State of Florida on issues involving eminent domain, real estate, and land use and zoning. 📚Through her legal experience working on behalf of private land development clients, Angela developed an interest and passion for real estate. The concept of “15 minute cities” seems to be popping up a lot lately. So, what is a 15 minute city? A 15 minute city is a land use planning concept that designs an urban area so essential needs are available within a 15 minute walk from a residence. It is not a regulation that restricts movement or requires a permit to leave your neighborhood or any other such crazy unfounded reactionary belief. Cities have historically been designed with this concept in mind until cars became ubiquitous. Imagine being able to safely bike or walk to run a few errands. Personally I think that would great!

Seaside, FL. This semi-circle used to be open to cars and it was a cluster. Now it’s pedestrian only and it’s allowed everyone to safely spread out and stroll and play without worry. More cities should move in this direction! Build cities around people, not cars 🤩
