Born in the great state of Ohio but raised all over the United States, Ronda Scott is no stranger to moving or the military way of life. Because her biological father and stepfather were both United States Marines, Ronda spent her childhood relocating from one duty station to another. Ronda understands the importance of finding the right house that, with love, can quickly turn into a home, affordi

ng a certain level of comfort and stability for the family. They exchanged vows at the oldest Marine Corps post, 8th & I; finally end up at Camp Lejuene in 2002 where they raised their children and put down roots. With so much life experiences to share, Ronda felt the natural step forward was to get her North Carolina Real Estate license and assist those in transitional steps as well. Whether you are relocating across the country or across the county, Ronda would love the opportunity to assist you!

What can I say?

May was a lot.

A lot of work.
A lot of hustle.
A lot of stress.
A few tears.
A lot of prayers.

And somehow, by the grace of God, it all came together.

Seven closings.
Four new listings.
Six homes under contract.

To say I'm exhausted would be an understatement, but I am also incredibly grateful.

Grateful to God for continuing to open doors and trusting me with the responsibility of helping families during some of the biggest moments of their lives.

Grateful to my clients who choose me, trust me, and allow me to be part of their journey. I never take that for granted.

And grateful to my family, who put up with the long days, late-night phone calls, missed dinners, and all the chaos that comes with this business. I couldn't do this without your love and support.

People ask me all the time if I'm tired. The answer is yes. But I will never complain about being busy. Not ever. There was a time I prayed for opportunities like these.

And the crazy thing is... June is already shaping up to be just as busy.

So today, I'm just stopping for a moment to say thank you, God. Thank you for the blessings, the lessons, the opportunities, and the people you've placed in my life.

If you're thinking about buying, selling, investing, or just have questions about the market, I'd love the opportunity to help.

❤️ Helping families with Heart & Hustle across Eastern North Carolina ❤️

Lord, this one was a lot.
There were several times during this transaction that I honestly didn't think we were going to make it to the closing table. In fact, there were probably a couple of times both the listing agent and I were wondering if this thing was ever going to close.
And yes... I cried.
More than once.
I don't know why some transactions hit me harder than others, but this one did. I got attached to these buyers, and I wanted this home for them so badly.
Today, though, it all paid off.
Congratulations to Emanuella and Dustin Costello on the purchase of their new home at 405 Falls Creek Drive in Jacksonville, North Carolina!
This is especially exciting because while Ella has owned a home before, this is Dustin's first home. Dustin, thank you for trusting me to help you buy your first home. That's something nobody can ever take away from you. There is nothing better than handing over keys to a first-time homebuyer and watching them start a new chapter as homeowners.
I also want to give a huge shoutout to Leighann Whitehead, the listing agent. Leighann, there were some days, girl... 😂 But we kept talking, kept working through the issues, and got it done. Thank you for being a professional and for working with me to get our clients where they needed to be. Congratulations to your sellers as well.
Thank you to Navy Federal. And y'all, I cannot believe I'm about to type these words, but this was actually a really good experience. Everybody involved worked hard, communicated, and helped us get this one across the finish line.
And to Don Walton's office... thank you. Also, please accept my apology for my attitude last Friday. 😬 Sometimes I get a little worked up when I'm fighting for my clients, but I truly appreciate everything you did to help make this closing happen.
Closing number one for June is officially in the books.
Now...

Well... it's official. ❤️

201 Lanieve Court is UNDER CONTRACT.

I knew this one would be emotional, but now that it's happened, it's really starting to sink in.

This wasn't just another listing for me. This is Stacey and Zach's home. The place where they've built memories, started their married life together, and created a home of their own while being just a few minutes down the road from Mom and Dad.

As many of you know, Zach is military, and once he finishes school, they'll be heading to their next duty station and starting a brand-new chapter.

And while I couldn't be more proud of them, I'd be lying if I said this one wasn't hard.

Harold and I have seven children, and we've watched each of them grow, spread their wings, and build lives of their own. But Stacey and Samantha have been our last two girls here in the Jacksonville area. Now Stacey and Zach are preparing for their next adventure, and Samantha has started a new chapter of her own.

For the first time in a very long time, our girls won't be just a few minutes away.

It's funny how you can be excited, proud, and a little heartbroken all at the same time.

We're incredibly proud of all of our children and the lives they've built. Watching them grow into amazing adults has been one of our greatest blessings. But this mama's heart is definitely feeling this season of change.

Congratulations to Stacey and Zach on getting your home under contract. We are so excited for what's ahead for you both, even if we're going to miss having you right down the road.

Now let's get this one to the closing table. ❤️
