📌1- credit score needs to be 620 or better for either FHA or Conventional (VA/military loans need to have 550 or better) The higher the score, the better the interest rate.

📌2- Have minimum down payment of 3-3.5% ready (VA Loans do not require down payment)

📌3- Also be prepared to pay closing costs,2-4% of the purchase price. In SOME cases..the seller will help pay for closing costs !
