🏡😂 EAST TEXAS REALTOR CONFESSIONS…

After enough years in real estate, I have learned one thing:

There are TWO things you can count on in East Texas… pine trees and things you will NEVER forget seeing in a house. 😂🌲

I’ve walked into homes and seen:

🐍 A snake that apparently thought HE was the listing agent.
🦌 Deer heads watching me show the living room like they were judging my negotiating skills.
🐓 Chickens roaming around like they were waiting on an offer.
🐕 Dogs who were MUCH more excited about the showing than their owners.
🧸 Bedrooms where I genuinely wondered, “Does anyone actually sleep in here?”
🚽 Bathrooms where I immediately decided I did NOT need to use the bathroom. 😂
🎨 Paint colors that could only be described as “aggressive.”
🔨 DIY projects that started with, “My husband can fix that…” and ended with, “Well… it has character.”
🛋️ Furniture packed so tightly I needed a showing appointment AND a GPS.
📦 Garages that haven’t seen a car since approximately 1997.
🌳 A “little bit of land” that turned out to be 47 acres of East Texas jungle.
🕷️ Spiders that looked like they paid property taxes.
👀 And closets so full I’m pretty sure Narnia was in the back.

Then there are those moments when I walk into a house and think:

“OH MY GOODNESS… THIS IS IT!” 😍🏡

That’s real estate, y’all. And I love it ALL. The good, the bad and the ugly🥰

Every house has a story.
Some just have WAY more stories than others. 😂
