Unpopular opinion: not every realtor is chasing βtop 1%,β millions in production, or the next award.
That might surprise you, because if you followed my first year in real estate, that was me. I put my head down and worked nonstop. I broke records, won Rookie of the Year, AHS Agent of the Year, Prosperity Home Mortgage Agent of the Year, and took top performance awards in my brokerage.
And Iβm proud of that season, but it came with a cost.
I missed moments at home. My attention was divided in ways that didnβt feel good. I was showing up, but not always fully present, and that weighed on me more than any award could ever make up for.
So going into my second (and now third year), I made a decision. I didnβt want to build a business that pulled me away from the life I love. I wanted to build one that supported it.
I have such a heart for this community and the people in it. I love being fully present for my clients and knowing they are getting the best version of me, not a burnt-out, stretched-thin version. And just as importantly, my kids deserve a mom who is fully there too.
So things changed. I grew. I adjusted.
Now, stepping into year three, this graphic means more to me than any award ever did. 15 goals for the year, and 5 already marked βsoldβ in the first quarter.
Not because it is the biggest number.
But because it represents balance. Intention. Sustainability.
I am still here 7 days a week.
Still all in for my clients.
Still fighting for their best interests every step of the way. But I have made a very intentional decision to only take on what allows me to do that well.
When you hire me, you are not getting someone juggling 10+ clients and trying to rush you to the finish line.
You are getting my full attention.
My full energy.
My full presence.
Because if I would not do it for myself, I will not do it for you either. π€
