New real estate rules are being introduced nationwide to enhance transparency. Starting Saturday, homebuyers will need to sign an agreement with their real estate agent before touring a home, making commission and compensation fully negotiable. These changes aim to clarify who is responsible for payments and prevent buyers from switching agents mid-process. Additionally, real estate agents will no longer be allowed to offer commissions on MLS.

The Life in Florida team, brokered by EXP Realty, has been training extensively on these new real estate changes, familiarizing ourselves with the new forms, contracts and processes that will affect how buyer’s agents operate moving forward.

Over the past two weeks, we’ve participated in webinars, Zoom calls, and discussions with other agents to ensure we're fully prepared for the changes taking effect tomorrow.
