If you’ve ever been told that you need a 620 and up credit score to get a mortgage, this post is for you. Keep reading.
I just had this client call me because he wasn’t sure he would be able to qualify due to his low credit score (590).
I explained to him that he could qualify for an FHA loan.
The minimum score required is 580 if you're putting 3.5% down. But if you put 10% down, you could qualify with a 500 score.
He’s now finishing the application and scanning the documents for get his pre-approval.
Agents DON’T reject potential buyers without getting on the phone with me first. I might have options for them.
