The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to rescue cats from serious situations and to educate the public on the dangers of owning big cats as pets. Their main objective is to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats from changing weather patterns, environmental pollution, diminishing habitats, and human hunters. Tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, arctic foxes and coatimundis are in their safe care.

Admire the Exhibits at the Cu**er Museum of Art and Gardens...

The Cu**er Museum of Art & Gardens is located in Jacksonville, Florida, founded in 1961 after the death of Ninah May Holden Cu**er, a local philanthropist who wanted to create "a center of beauty and culture" in Jacksonville by featuring her gardens and personal art collection to the new museum. It was then expanded to include the property owned by Ninah's brother-in-law, but it still includes her original garden designs and a portion of her home with its historic furnishing.

Currently, the museum has a permanent collection of over five thousand works of art dating from 2100 BCE to the twenty-first century that focuses strongly in European and American paintings. Some of these art works are from artists such as Winslow Homer, Thomas Moran, and Norman Rockwell, and including the Wark Collection of Early Meissen Porcelain. It also has an award-winning education center, Art Connections, which possesses a number of interactive educational installations and serves underprivileged and special education students with its programs.

There are four different gardens, including English and Italian garden, each stunningly beautiful and serene in its own distinct way. Three flower gardens comprising the oldest back to 1903 are on the museum ground that has preserved their original layout for over a century and were designed by landscape designers such as the Olmsted Brothers, Thomas Meehan & Sons, and Ellen Biddle Shipman.
