We are currently seeking an Apartment Cleaner/Groundskeeper to join our team! The successful candidate performs janitorial and grounds keeping duties to ensure the general cleanliness and upkeep of the property and assists the Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Supervisor with cleaning and painting of apartments after move out.

Job Description: To be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the property and all areas related to the day-to-day upkeep of the community. Essential duties & responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1) Cleaning of common areas including grounds, restrooms, offices, fitness center, gym, media room, etc.

2) Cleaning and painting of vacant move outs to return them to move in condition.

3) Maintenance of grounds such as picking up trash, pet waste, emptying trash cans & pet stations, etc.

4) Pressure Washing of buildings, sidewalks, and other common areas.

5) Light repairs

6) Assist Maintenance Team with refurbishing of vacant apartments prior to occupancy.

7) Other responsibilities as determined and delegated by the Property Manager.

8) Be flexible to report to work at both of our locations on a rotating basis.

Job Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Approximately 50% of the working day will be outside performing groundskeeping/cleaning duties in the Florida heat.

1) Minimum 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Training in some or all of these areas a plus: cleaning, painting, minor maintenance repairs, pressure washing, grounds keeping.

3) Preferred working hours are M-F, 8am to 4:30pm

This is an entry level position which provides training and room for growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician performs service duties and coordinates activities of workers/vendors to insure that all upkeep, inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property is completed in an efficient manner.

Job Description: To be responsible for the overall maintenance of the property and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance of the community. Essential duties & responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

1) Perform maintenance on all HVAC units and appliances, and ability to coordinate warranty repairs if necessary.

2) Perform electrical repairs, plumbing work, carpentry work.

3) Assist in custodial work & grounds work.

4) Refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy.

5) Painting & drywall repair.

6) Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, refurbishing, annual inspections, inventories.

7) Participate in emergency stand-by schedule for evening, weekend & holiday coverage.

8) Other responsibilities as determined and delegated by the Property Manager.

This is a full time position, approximately 40 hours per week. You will be required to work every Saturday.
