We've opened the doors on something new: ETM's first field office in FDOT District 3.

Louis Bramblett, PE, is leading the team providing Construction Engineering and Inspection services on FDOT's resurfacing of the Crawfordville Road/Adams Street corridor (SR 61/US 319 and SR 363) in Leon County. This is one of the busiest commuter routes into Tallahassee, carrying more than 16,000 vehicles a day and connecting Wakulla County and southern Leon County to downtown.

Beyond fresh pavement, the project brings ADA-accessible curb ramps and crossings, new guardrail, refreshed signage and markings, and a repaved stretch of the historic St. Marks Railroad Trail.

Providing CEI services on the project, our role is to ensure it’s built to plan, on schedule, and safe for FDOT, the Contractor and everyone who drives the corridor. Congratulations to the project team.

For the new Baptist Medical Campus at SilverLeaf, ETM brought together Land Development, Survey, GIS, Transportation, and Construction Engineering and Inspection expertise to help Baptist Health advance more than 100,000 square feet of medical facilities in one of St. Johns County's fastest-growing communities.

When helipad requirements conflicted with an adjacent high-rise residential community, ETM reworked the site plan to resolve the issue, preserving full campus functionality while keeping the project moving through permitting.

Representing an investment of more than $100 million, the new campus, including a freestanding emergency department, brings critical healthcare services closer to Silverleaf residents and families throughout the surrounding area.

This role turns complex field data into accurate survey drawings, plats and mapping deliverables that support large-scale projects shaping communities across Florida, from major infrastructure improvements to master-planned communities and landmark developments.

You’ll need hands-on experience with:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- ALTA/NSPS surveys and subdivision plats
- Boundary analysis, deed research and legal descriptions
- Processing data from GPS, total stations and laser-scanning equipment
- Reviewing survey deliverables for accuracy and quality
- Coordinating with project surveyors, project managers and field crews
- Mentoring or supervising junior staff

That was the core message from Alexa Graf and Daniel Johns' session at PWX Houston, where they walked through how the City of Jacksonville replaced spreadsheets and email with one system, built around four roles: Administrator, Contractor, Inspector, and Reviewer.

ULI North Florida Awards for Excellence - Project Finalist Spotlight: Seven Pines

Nominated in the New Development Over $20 Million category, Seven Pines represents what's possible when a community is built around walkability, conservation, and long-term vision from the start.

ETM has supported Seven Pines from entitlement and master planning through infrastructure design and implementation across the 1,068-acre site. Our scope includes planning, program management, transportation, surveying, and construction services, all the civil systems that support a connected, mixed-use community built around a form-based code.

Seven Pines has been recognized by the National Association of Home Builders as one of the top five master-planned communities in the country. At full buildout, it will deliver thousands of homes, millions of square feet of non-residential space, and significant acreage preserved as parks, open space, and conservation lands.

We're grateful to work alongside Sawmill Timber, ICI Homes, David Weekley Homes, Spectrum, Baptist Health, Regency Centers, Life Time, Onyx Development, Vallencourt Construction, and the broader project team whose collaboration makes a project of this scale and ambition possible.
