Rents will continue to increase in north Florida for the foreseeable future. Owning may or may not be appropriate for your individual situation -- however owning your home mitigates your risk of dealing with hundreds $$ in rent increases which many report seeing recently.

"Do you think the housing market will crash?"

Most honest answer is 🤷🏻‍♂️
Analyzing the data and information available is the best we can do. And here's the short form answer...

• Interest rates are extremely low and have been held down, this increases your affordability and buying power.
• Millennial households are growing and forming at astonishing rates despite others saying we don't want kids or to get married (don't confuse us with Gen Z, we're not the same)
• Supply & demand 👈🏻 Nationally we need 5+ million homes overnight to hit a balanced market. That's as likely as finding Brontosaurus 🦕 roaming lush American forest. (There aren't enough homes using covid-19 foreclosure protection right now to dent that 5+ mill figure)
• There's been a mass exodus from big cities which has basically redistributed wealth, money, and buying competitiveness across the country into what used to be less competitive or expensive markets.
~ As of today we don't have any signs the above changes anytime soon
