Tip #5 in our series - Tips for Keeping Your Pets Safe During Your Move -On moving day, another fan recommends introducing your dog to the movers. Introducing your dog to the movers will reduce aggression and stress. Remember, often, your dog's job is to protect the house and your property. Don’t get mad if they want to bark. They don’t understand that the movers are allowed to take your furniture. Several fans suggested sending your fur babies to a friend's house, a daycare, or a kennel so they do not escape during the excitement and confusion of packing. Also, you do not want your movers to accidentally trip over one of your babies.

Tip 4 in our series - Tips for Keeping Your Pets Safe During Your Move - If your dog does not travel in a crate, several Facebook fans recommend using a dog harness and a seat belt extender. A pet seat belt will keep your baby from jumping from the back seat to the front seat and from the front seat to the back seat. It is advised that your pets stay in the back seat so that, in the unfortunate event of an accident, they do not get injured by the airbag. The seat belt will help keep them safe and secure, reducing the risk of injury. When your dog wears a harness and uses a seat belt, there is also less risk of them escaping at the gas station or rest stop. Think about safety at all times.
