BEST AGENT EVER!
We began our journey to finding our retirement home with Susan approximately 6 months ago. We are moving from California to Texas. After several phone conversations, we narrowed down our wish list and made plans to check some of these properties out.
Immediately upon meeting Susan in person, we knew she was the agent for us. Susan is down to earth, knowledgeable of the area and insanely accommodating to our high maintenance needs and relentless questions...Especially because we knew nothing about the different areas.
She provided us a list of properties before hand so we could sift through the ones we "Thought" we knew were right for us. Our goal was a 10-15 acre property with 2 houses to provide for our families.
Susan took us to a property we absolutely fell in love with, but, we continued through the list of properties for the next few days of visits. I was on a strict max of $500K using a VA loan. After the visit, we home to weigh our options and the one property we absolutely loved was $40K above my max.
In August of 25 we returned to also see the "One" again if still available. We visited the "One" first and of course we loved it even more. But we kept an open mind and found a few other properties that were fabulous but just didn't tick all the boxes. After a lunch with Susan, we told her we really loved the "One" and would let her know what we would decide after returning to California. It took all of 2 minutes after leaving lunch with Susan to confirm we wanted to make a verbal offer on the "One". The "One" was now listed at $499K and we made an offer at $485K and we settled on a price of $493K. Susan was there to take care of all of the inspections, appraisals etc. She was a Pitbull with financing, and everything to get this place for us. If you are looking for the best real estate agent in East Texas, use Susan Brock! Love Her!!! We Own a 26 Acre Ranch with two houses and all fenced, usable land! Epic!!! Texas Here We Come!
