Last week Angela Morgan Mckee represented IPS and every other property manager and landlord in Florida as she testified on behalf of Chapter 83 the governing Landlord/Tenant Act at a Senate Subcommittee and House of Representatives subcommittee where the bill passed in both committees and now heads to a 3rd subcommittee before going to the floor.

I am honored to be the 2023 FL State President and work with outstanding professionals in the property management industry and our affiliates!

I am not sure I can put into words the amazing 2023 DOTH but I will try. First, I want to give a huge shout out to Alex Zweydoff and his committee. Alex is our 2023 Legistive chair and Chair of DOTH. He took it upon himself to join the FAA DOTH 2 weeks ago to learn more about what a successful DOTH looks like and bring back ideas to make our event successful. Alex does not work with apartments but still used his personal time to attend with Harry Heist and Michael Hodges. His sacrifice and commitment did not go without a major harvest! The folders, handouts and preparation he brought back took our 2nd annual DOTH to a higher level. Alex’s organization to put us into groups and divide up the 20+ appointments Tyler Craddock secured for us with our Representatives was invaluable.

Alex, your hours of service, your excellence and your ability to bring this altogether was extraordinary and we all appreciate you! I appreciate you! 🙌🏼

Jessica Foster our 2023 President Elect and Affiliate Chair; secured the funding we needed to make this event happen. Jessica’s commitment to help our FL State Chapter cover the cost of this event was exemplary and beyond appreciated! Thank you Jessica!! 🙌🏼

Our chapter owes a huge thank you to Harry Heist with Heist, Weisse, & Wolk, Wayne Cheslak with Onsight Pros, Christian Sergeant with Second Nature, Michael Hodges with FPM Properties and Justin Garrett with Watson Realty!!! We want to give a special recognition of appreciation to each of these sponsors for not only providing financially but for participating in our event at the Capitol! They each served tirelessly to help our DOTH committee! Thank you all we appreciate and value each of you!!

To our attendees, we want to thank you for your participation and willingness to take time from your property management companies to learn more about why DOTH is important to the protection of our industry. Each of you met with your Representatives and discussed multiple bills that would protect and enhance our industry. The impact you had with your Representatives is greater than you know. You stood in the gap for all the property managers / brokerages throughout Florida! Well done 🙌🏼

In closing I would like say thank you to our Past President Daniel Rothrock that started DOTH 2022. Daniel and his team were unable to join us this year but I am confident he would have been very proud of the legacy he began.
