Amendment 3 proposes a major increase to Floridaā€™s homestead exemption for non-school property taxes ā€” up to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028.

For qualifying homeowners, that could mean a lower property-tax bill.

The other side of the equation? Less property-tax revenue collected by local governments.

Definitely the kind of spot where you can grab a coffee, open the laptop, and get some work done without feeling rushed.
