As part of my business I Manage Properties... some of my owners have large portfolios in the more blighted side of Jacksonville. Every City has it's more depressed areas. That said it can be difficult as tenants of these type of properties struggle to pay rent more than the rest of us. Some of these tenants are sweet people and some are pretty nasty. It's part of the game, That said I meet some very nice people in the hood so to speak. The good people at Norwood Community Church help the people in many ways. One way is to give out free clothes.

If you have any used clothes that are still in decent shape please inbox me.. I will make arrangements, to pick them up. I think it's a great thing. I spend a few minutes of my time and someone has something to wear.

INTEGRITY Here a younger Mike Boyle stands, in the office, of his Granite Shop, in Green Cove. There I made tops for the finest people, in Jacksonville. Higginbotham Builders, Thomson Select Cabinets, D&B Custom Cabinets. If you live in Jacksonville you know these people would demand the best...and I was the best. Look on the walls... after I installed tops or anything else, in your house, you were asked, to sign a Sign Off Sheet. This stated you looked over your job and you were happy. I started putting them on the wall wasn't long every wall was completely covered, in them. Plus I only put the one's up there that bothered to write comments about how great it looked and how thrilled they were. To this day if I make any mistakes, I fix them at my own expense. I have been, in my own business since I was 23 years old. I have put additions on houses, more new kitchens than I can remember, heck I even put an addition on a school in New York City.... more granite jobs than I could count... all that and no one has ever called the Better Business Bureau on me, ever. In my Real Estate Career every review 5 Stars.

I could have taken some short cuts here and there, I never did. I have Integrity.

Why am blabbing about all this? Because it makes me sick that a lot of other people don't have any integrity at all. Just out for themselves.

Wouldn’t more of people caring be nice?

A man wanting to jump off a bridge in London was talked down by absolute strangers who proceeded to hold him for an hour until help arrived to get him down safely. Look at that grip. Look at the care, compassion, selflessness, and determination shown by complete strangers to a hurting human being.

We need more of this in the world. ❤️
