Is International Golf Parkway officially ruined or are we actually getting a Target? Development plans were just filed for a massive 140,000 square foot big-box store plus 10 new restaurants and shops at World Commerce Center. Word on the street is Target could be the anchor, alongside spots like Cheddar’s, LongHorn, and Olive Garden. On one hand, not having to drive all the way across town for basic errands sounds incredible. On the other hand... that intersection near I-95 is already a total standstill at 5 PM. I can't even imagine adding another few thousand cars a day to International Golf Parkway. Is the convenience going to be worth the gridlock, or is St. Johns County growing way too fast?
