Colleen Bording Realtor

Colleen Bording Realtor Colleen has been a Realtor for over 35 year with 1500 Jacksonville homes sold and has been a regular member of the Silver Pinnacle Club.

Colleen has made Jacksonville her home for over 35 years. Colleen grew up in Brooklyn, New York and worked for several years on Wall Street. However, a few trips visiting family in Florida convinced her to relocate ---she got sand in her shoes and is here to stay! Colleen enjoys tennis, snow skiing, traveling and entertaining. She even attended a week long cooking school in Italy a few years ago!

Now her trips include regular visits to Hawaii because her son, Steven, a US Air Force pilot, and his family, (including two beautiful grandchildren) are stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii, for the next few years. Her customers enjoy working with her because of her genuine caring attitude, enthusiasm and superior service. Colleen has been a top sales associate with Watson Realty each year for over 30 years. Colleen was #1 in Sales for Watson Realty for two years in a row. With over 1500 Jacksonville homes sold, Colleen has been a regular member of the Silver Pinnacle Club (over $5,000,000 in sales in one year), and has also achieved membership in the Gold Pinnacle Club (over $10,000,000 in sales in one year). She has been a great asset to Watson Realty and, of course, to all her customers over the last 30 years, and looks forward to many more successful transactions in the future. Designations: CRS (Council of Residential Specialists)

How to Assess Natural Light When Touring Homes
Natural light is one of those qualities that listing photos don't always capture accurately. A room that looks bright and airy in listing photos might tell a different story in person — and the reverse is just as true. When you're touring homes, taking a few extra minutes to evaluate how light moves...

What Buyers Should Know About Flood Risk and Insurance
Flooding isn't usually top of mind when you're touring open houses. You're focused on countertops, closet space, and whether the backyard is big enough. Flood risk tends to sit near the bottom of the list—until it suddenly doesn't. Buyers who overlook it can face insurance costs they didn't anticipate,...

Storage Solutions for Homes Without Large Closets
Shallow closets and limited built-ins are a hallmark of many beloved older American homes — Craftsman, mid-century ranches, Cape Cods. It's one of the trade-offs that comes with the character and charm those homes offer. What it doesn't have to come with is clutter. A thoughtful approach to storage...
