She received her B.A. from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Originally from Omaha, she moved to Weehawken in 2011 where she resides with her husband, daughter, and their two rescue dogs. In her free time she enjoys exploring the city with her family, running along the Hudson, playing softball with friends, and cooking. She is involved with various committees at her church as well as volunteering with animal rescue.
