It has been brought to my attention again that there are scammers out there. Please note we do not post on Facebook Marketplace for this reason. Please also note that our properties would not get posted by individuals it would be posted on our own page. I have attached photos of an example. 🎆 Friendly Reminder: Fireworks in Jamestown 🎆

As we celebrate Independence Day, the Jamestown Police Department would like to remind everyone of the legal dates and times for fireworks within the city.

📅 Fireworks may only be sold and used July 1 through July 5.

Permitted detonation hours:
🧨 July 1–3: Noon – 11:00 PM
🧨 July 4: Noon – 1:00 AM (July 5)
🧨 July 5: Noon – 11:00 PM

⚠️ Fireworks discharged outside of these hours may result in a potential Class B Misdemeanor charge

As you celebrate, please remember:
🇺🇸 Be respectful of your neighbors.
🐾 Keep pets and young children safe.
🔥 Have a water source nearby and never use fireworks near dry grass or combustible materials.
🧹 Clean up debris after your celebration.

Let’s work together to make this a safe and enjoyable Independence Day for everyone in Jamestown.
