Jefferson City needs more visitors and our visitors and convention bureau has worked hard throughout the years to do this. The lodging tax has generated funds to keep this going. Our City Council and Chamber of Commerce are working hard to accomplish this.  cutting off this funding by voting down the lodging tax it is not, in my opinion, a good idea. we need to increase funding, not decrease it!!!
