Kim elevated her skills and expertise, earning her broker’s license in 2021. Kim got a crash course in home ownership when she and her husband, Allan, purchased their first house in Jefferson City.
“It was a 3 bedroom and 2 bath—and the significance of that is we have six kids,” she says. “The home had an unfinished basement, so we got to go through the process of designing what we wanted and how

we would use that space. I learned a lot about taking a house and making it a home that fit our family.”
She made the switch to a real estate profession in 2017 after working years in the non-profit sector. "In social work, I worked with families in various capacities through life-changing events. After experiencing the journey of home ownership firsthand, I saw an opportunity to make a difference as a Realtor®.
