We were honored to welcome Dr. Monty Burks and Jeff Kahrs from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to the 2026 MCRSP Annual Conference! 🎉👏

Dr. Monty Burks serves as Director of the HHS Center for Faith, where he works to strengthen partnerships between faith-based and community organizations and public systems to support recovery, behavioral health, workforce development, reentry, and second-chance opportunities. 💙

Jeff Kahrs serves as HHS Regional Director for Region 7, representing the department across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska and working with partners throughout the region to strengthen health and human services. 🌎🏛️

Big changes are coming to the way Recovery Support Services funding is allocated in Missouri.

The Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health, is revising the RSS allocation system for contracted RSS providers. The new system is intended to reduce voucher-related issues and help providers better plan their staffing, budgeting, and services.

Join DBH representatives at the 2026 MCRSP Annual Conference to learn more about the revised system, what it will mean for DMH contracted providers, and what to expect during the transition. This session will also include time for questions from attendees.
