Told ya summer was near; it's the first day of spring! Spring home-maintenance to-do list:
🌸 Remove any debris that may have accumulated on the roof over the winter.
🌸 Clear leaves, twigs, and debris from gutters and downspouts.
🌸 Schedule a professional inspection and tune-up for your AC unit.
🌸 Reconnect hoses and check for leaks or weak water flow.
🌸 Pressure wash decks, patios, and walkways. Check for loose boards, nails, or signs of rot.
🌸 Prune shrubs, trees, and perennials to encourage healthy growth.
🌸 Replace or wash outdoor cushions, and touch up paint on metal frames.
🌸 Check lawn mowers and other tools, sharpen blades, and replace oil if necessary.
🌸 Share this list with your honey. Chop, chop, Dear! lol

Groundhog Day stems from ancient European traditions, particularly Candlemas Day, when clergy would bless candles to ward off winter's chill. A German custom tied to Candlemas involved a hedgehog predicting the weather. German immigrants brought the tradition to Pennsylvania, where groundhogs replaced hedgehogs as the weather predictor because groundhogs were more common in the U.S. The more ya know!
