📢 Attention Indiana Home Buyers!

Starting July 1st, there’s an important change for anyone looking to buy a home in Indiana. Realtors will no longer be able to show you a home unless you’ve signed an agreement with them. This applies to all real estate agents with a Realtor designation who adhere to the Code of Ethics.

What does this mean for you?

Before touring a home, you’ll need to sign a Buyer’s Representation Agreement with your chosen Realtor. This agreement outlines your roles, duties, and responsibilities as well as those of your agent.
Take your time to interview and select the right agent for you. This decision shouldn’t be rushed; choose wisely.
The good news? You and your Realtor can decide when the agreement expires, giving you flexibility.
Why is this important?

Purchasing a home is a significant step. You want an agent who has your best interests at heart, knows the local market, understands contracts, and is responsive to your needs.
Don’t hesitate to interview potential Realtors, seek referrals, and make an informed decision.
