Deadline to file for Tax Year 2024 is by December 30th.

Did you recently purchase a new home? Our staff is here and ready to assist you to file your Homestead Exemption! Homestead exempts up to $75,000 of the Fair Market Value of your property.

You must meet the following in order to apply.
1. Own the property.
2. Occupy and reside on the property.
3. Have your State Drivers License or Identification Card with the correct physical address of where you are applying for Homestead exemption.

Please come by our office located in the LaSalle Parish Courthouse 1050 Courthouse St, Room 19 Jena, La - Monday through Friday 8am-4pm.
