Two closings… one table… and one sore hand by the end of it 😂

Some closings come easy… and some take a little more time and patience.

118 Morris Dr was one of those journeys.

We navigated a tougher 2025 market, worked through the ups and downs, and while it didn’t happen in the timeframe we originally hoped for, we stayed the course.

And today—it all came together!

Looking back, it’s clear the timing was exactly what it was supposed to be. The perfect family came along at just the right time—first-time home buyers ready to start their next chapter in a place they can truly enjoy.

Closings don’t always go exactly as planned… and this one definitely had a moment where it could’ve gone sideways.

We had everything lined up, and then an unexpected fire threw a curveball into the deal. It would’ve been easy for either side to walk away—but that’s not what happened.

Instead, both the seller and the buyer stayed committed. We worked through the details, made a few adjustments, and kept moving forward.

And today… we closed right on schedule.

Those are my favorite kinds of deals—the ones where people choose to work together, stay steady, and find a way to the finish line.

2. Prep Your Finances (the lender will help you with all of this)
3. Gather the documents. It is a good idea to go ahead and have these documents on hand to send to the lender when they need it.
4. You and I will look for homes in your budget until we find your dream one!

Michael and his sweet family are heading across the country, and they will truly be missed here in Wayne County.

A few years ago, Michael called me when they were moving to Jesup, and we found the perfect new construction home to fit their needs. Now, that home has been passed on to its next owners, and it’s been such an honor to help him not only buy, but also sell.

Michael is one of those people you’re just thankful to know—kind, genuine, and easy to work with every step of the way. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with him and his family.
