Friday Night Feature | Welcome home to Louisa County, VA! ✨

Please help us welcome Cassidy McAdams to her new home. Cassidy chose to build a customized Laurel Creek Plan, Elevation C, on her land in Louisa County, Virginia.

Cassidy made several custom changes to the Laurel Creek plan and chose upgrades throughout the home that made it completely her own.
Some of our favorite features and upgrades include:
* Adding square footage to create a larger mudroom and Primary walk-in closet, with double rows of shelving in the closet and pocket doors at both the Primary Bathroom and walk-in closet.
* Replacing the original rear windows with a sliding glass door that opens onto a custom 12-by-16-foot deck with two sets of stairs.
* Wicker-stained cabinetry, upgraded Level 2 Steel Gray granite with a leathered finish, and a Highland Lake Almond tile backsplash in the kitchen.
* An upgraded 6-foot Primary Bathroom vanity with open cabinetry underneath, two sinks, Dallas White granite, and an additional showerhead.
* 7-inch Cyrus LVP in Sandino throughout the entire home, including all three bedrooms and the Primary walk-in closet.
* CertainTeed Tuxedo siding with black windows and gutters, cedar gable details, and cedar porch columns.
* Stamped concrete on the front porch and sidewalk in Charcoal with Soapstone release.

🎉 Happy 18th Anniversary, Angie!

Today we are thrilled to celebrate 18 years with our Chief of Staff, Angie! Many of you may know Angie because she has been with us for nearly as long as Rock River Homes has been building houses.

Angie’s career with Rock River Homes has taken her through nearly every part of the homebuilding process. She began in preproduction and later moved into construction management, making sure every detail reflected our commitment to quality. Transitioning from the field to the drawing board, Angie applied her talents to design, creating signature spaces and floor plans that have become hallmarks of Rock River Homes. Her ideas set a standard we continue to follow, and many families still remember the joy of working with her to make their homes uniquely their own.

Since then, Angie has stepped into many important roles across Rock River, bringing her trademark care and integrity to everything she does.

As part of our Leadership Team, Angie cares deeply about both our team and our customers. Her commitment, experience, and leadership have made her an integral part of Rock River Homes, with her influence woven throughout the company.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys quality time with her husband and her sweet cat, Etta. An avid culinary enthusiast, she loves whipping up dishes with her extensive collection of Williams Sonoma cookware. She also has a love for music, with a talent for both piano and singing, and she’s a big fan of live concerts.
