🍁 When Will Fall Colors Peak Where You Live? 🍂
One of autumn’s biggest questions has arrived: When will the leaves reach peak color?
Our map shows the typical timing of peak fall foliage across the United States, from the earliest color in northern New England and higher elevations to the later displays across the South.
Of course, Mother Nature doesn’t follow a perfect calendar. 🍁 Elevation, rainfall, drought, temperature, wind, and local tree species can all push peak color earlier—or later—from year to year.
