However, violent crimes, drug related crimes of felony status, and sexual related crimes will not be accepted. Failure to disclose a criminal record is grounds for automatic denial. Rent to Household Income: You must make 3 times the monthly rent in gross income in order to qualify. For example: If the rent is $1,000.00 the monthly household income has to be greater than $3,000.00. Unemployment payments do not qualify as earned income towards the income qualification requirement. Documented child support will count to increase this section but will not count toward the minimum 3x requirement. Social Security with supporting documentation will count.
