Blizzard Warning
February 22, 2026
As you are probably aware, Rhode Island is expecting a blizzard starting tonight, February 22, 2026, through Tuesday morning, February 24, 2026. We want to take a moment to remind everyone about preparedness and safety while our team works tirelessly to clear snow.
To efficiently remove the snow from the parking lots, it is imperative that all residents move their vehicles to the designated snow parking areas so the parking lot can be thoroughly cleared. Please move your vehicle(s) to the snow parking areas PRIOR to the beginning of each storm.
This storm will bring wet and heavy snow; power outages are expected. In the event we lose power, please do not call the emergency maintenance line, there is nothing we can do to restore power. Key preparedness includes having non-perishable foods, flashlights (not candles), battery-powered radios, extra blankets, warm clothing, and charged backup power banks for phones and medical devices.
Maintenance will be plowing periodically during the snowstorm to create an opening for emergency vehicles only, for safety residents should not be leaving their homes until the storm is over and the parking lots and sidewalks are thoroughly cleared. Due to the volume of snow, we do not anticipate that these areas will be passable until Tuesday. We ask for your patience and cooperation.
Please use caution while entering and exiting the building, when walking through the parking lot and while walking on tile flooring to prevent a slip and fall. Please wear appropriate footwear and wipe your feet before entering the foyers. If you must go outside, please use caution and do not walk near the plow truck, as visibility will be low.
We will be working on clearing snow all day on Monday and will not be asking anyone to move cars until Tuesday.
The rental office will be closed on Monday, February 23, 2026. Should you have a maintenance emergency please call (401) 943-7131 and follow the prompts.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
Sincerely,
Kelly Messier
