Yeah... no. Classic drainage issue.

The downspout is draining the water mere inches from the foundation. Meaning that water is going to build and sit against that foundation wall, causing water to enter the basement, wear on the walls, and can even cause hydrostatic pressure. All of which will lead to bigger issues down the line. Make sure downspouts drain at least 6 feet from the foundation! Extensions are cheap ways to extend the life of your home!

The reasons I started Before You Leap Inspections are pretty straight forward. As I've grown in life, I've learned the importance of a home, a foundation. The comfort and security of your own space, or at least, a property that should be giving that opportunity.

The experience I've had with my own has been further evidence of it and it's a great feeling to help home owners feel better about what they're living with. This path is how I will provide for my family and ensure my daughter has a safe and secure place to grow. Offering that same peace of mind is the best payment.

Providing this service to those who need it, providing for my daughter, and making a difference in my own way have made this an obvious choice. Thank you to those who have helped me along the way!
