I get asked all of the time if I’m still doing real estate. I get why so many ask, due to my battle with Cancer. The answer is, I’VE NEVER STOPPED. While I was in horrible shape in the hospital, I had my iPad in my lap and I was working in between surgeries, procedures, through the pain, the sickness, etc…. I’ve shown houses and I’ve done listing appts while on oxygen, when I could barely walk or get around. All the while, people were telling me that I needed to slow down, take it easy, put my health first, etc….
Why?
Because I love what I do, I don’t take the opportunity to represent people lightly, I have a lot of people who rely on me, I NEED to stay busy because it helps me mentally during this battle, I’m self-employed (don’t work, don’t get paid), and most importantly, I wouldn’t have it any other way, I’ve been working since I was a kid. It’s just who I am and how I’m wired. May was a great month for me in the real estate world, and June is shaping up to be another great one! I will never take a day for granted, I will continue to work hard and be the best I can be for those who need me. I truly don’t know any other way to be!
Thank you to all of my current and past clients who have believed in me and continue to believe in me, it means the world to me! Yes, I have Stage 4 Lung Cancer, but I am absolutely still working hard everyday! If you are thinking about buying, selling, both, or just have questions, give me a shout!
