Great new to all our Landlord members. We now have an Application and a Move in - Move out checklist for everyone to start using in your landlord business.
Login to the state website and then click on “documents”. You will find it among all other documents you can use. DO NOT share it with NON Members !! It’s a benefit you get as being a PAID member.

Hats off to your State Education Committee for putting this together.

Greetings to all,

Here is an update on getting your Property Management license.

I spoke to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission on July 9th. At this time, they are working on getting instructors approved to teach.

This should be done by the end of July.

Long story short, you will have to fill out an application, do a background check (all information and application will soon be on AREC website). https://arec.arkansas.gov/

Then you will register to start your Pre-license course which hopefully will be around the 1st of September. Then you will take the text. Within 6 months, you will then have a Post-license course.

The Real Estate Commission has a meeting at the end of next week to finalize more details. After that, everything should move forward and information will then be on their website.

Soon, everything will be in place. Again, if you are a Landlord and are managing property for anyone else, you MUST get your Property Management license !!!

Sincerely,

LuAnn
