As cold weather progresses keep in mind there items;

❄️Keep a small stream of water running (skinks/tubs) if on an outside wall. Run hot water until you get hot water, then set stream. Set the cold water as well.

❄️If washer line is on an outside wall, continue to run as usual to prevent freezing. Cold and Hot sides- Add space heaters to laundry area that gets cold.

❄️Keep a steady drip from faucets that are on interior walls.

❄️Open all cabinets doors on outside walls

❄️Close crawl spaces and vent openings around your house.

❄️Turn your heat up! NEVER shut heat off even when leaving.

If you notice a frozen pipe, please try to thaw it as quickly as possible. The longer it is frozen it will increase the risk of damage to the piping.

Please disconnect water hose from outside spigot(s).
DO NOT cap the spigot’s, that will keep them from draining. Insulate od style spigots.

IF…PIPES FREEZE AND BUST DUE TO NOT TAKING PREVENTATIVE MEASURES, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRS.
