YES, I'M STILL A REALTOR.
One of the questions I get asked most often is:
"Why aren't people buying houses right now?"
The truth is, most people are not afraid of buying a house.
They are afraid of making a bad financial decision.
The biggest concerns I hear are:
• Interest rates are higher than they were a few years ago.
• Monthly payments have increased significantly.
• People are worried about the economy and job security.
• Many are concerned about overpaying for a home.
• Sellers are hesitant to move because they have low interest rates on their current homes.
Here's my honest feedback:
There is no perfect market.
When rates were low, buyers faced bidding wars and limited inventory. Today, buyers often have more negotiating power and less competition.
The right time to buy or sell is not determined by headlines. It is determined by your personal situation, goals, finances, and timing.
My job is not to convince anyone to buy a house.
My job is to provide honest information, answer questions, and help people make the best decision for their family.
If you're wondering whether now is the right time to buy, sell, invest, or simply prepare for the future, I'd be happy to have a conversation.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just honest advice.
