Today reminds me that the search for home is about so much more than the house itself.

For this family, it was about finding a place where their kids and grandkids could run and play. A place for backyard cookouts, corn hole games, and spending time together.

This one is special because I had the privilege of helping my first repeat client.

It’s one thing to help someone buy or sell a home. It’s another to build a relationship that brings them back again.

This family made the cross country move from Wyoming in 2024, when the market looked a little different than it does today. With buyers lined up to see the same homes, we found ourselves competing in multiple offer situations more than once. Through it all, we were able to secure a wonderful home that gave them a place to settle into East Tennessee and call home.

Today, we closed on the sale of that home. And soon, we’ll be back at the closing table, but this time to purchase their next home, one they could immediately envision spending time in the backyard with their kids and grandkids.

Being trusted not just once, but again, is something I don’t take for granted. I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes them.

What started with a simple phone call to a developer after spotting a sign, before the dirt had even been moved, led us to meet some incredible people doing amazing work.
