5 years ago, I transferred to join the best group of people. I met Kathy through real estate school in 2018 and was so proud of her for taking the leap to open her own brokerage. I am amazed at how it's grown and expanded! Although I have only been working as an agent part-time, please always keep me in mind! Referrals are the greatest compliment, and I have appreciated and enjoyed every one!

October’s $275,000 marked a return to more normalized pricing conditions as buyer urgency eased and price adjustments became more common. Taken together, the pattern is consistent with a market transitioning from post-pandemic intensity toward steadier, more negotiable conditions. The range remains historically elevated, but the sharp run-ups have ended.

Thanks to the generosity of the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors, entrance to Bays Mountain Park on August 17 is FREE for everyone!

If you’ve never been to Bays Mountain Park or are looking for something fun to do outdoors this weekend, then take advantage of NETAR’s generosity and come out and enjoy the park.

Bays Mountain Park will be open on August 17 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The nature center will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day.

Go for a leisurely walk around the lake, take a short hike up the mountain, visit with the animals or maybe just sit on a bench, read a book and be surrounded by the beauty of Bays Mountain. Remember, there’s no wrong way to spend time at Bays Mountain Park.

NOTE – While gate fees will be waived all day on August 17, program fees (planetarium shows, barge rides) will still be in effect and guests will have to pay those to participate.

Tri-Cities pending sales continued to reflect price-sensitive buyer behavior in May. New contracts declined from April while making a healthy increase over last year's total. New listing, active inventory and the time a property is on the market before closing sent positive signals with increases.

The Northeast Tennessee housing market continues to show wide pricing variation across its submarkets. While some areas are commanding premium values, others are seeing pricing corrections or signs of stabilization. The following analysis ranks May’s submarkets by median sales price and examines the year-over-year price change to reveal which areas are appreciating, holding, or cooling. Note that the Roan Mountain May price is an outlier to the trend since it’s based on only one sale.
