I am rarely at a loss for words, but...
When people ask me how the flower farm went this summer, I usually, reflexively, say "Good!"

But that's not really the full answer.

My face lights up and my brain starts to spin. I probably look kind of like the meme where she's trying to solve complex equations in her head only with a smile on my face.

(Which I can't figure out how to put here...hey, I grow flowers, ok? I can't be good at everything.)

I say "Good" because the answer is so big.

How was the flower farm this summer?

It was beautiful.
It was lovely.
It was sweaty.
It was maddening.
It was welcoming.
It was delightful.
It was a lot of back pain.
It was exhausting.
It was absolutely a dream come true.

I basically just have a big feelings soup going on about this experience.

But more than anything else, the feeling bubbling to the top is:
​gratitude.

It is my absolute pleasure and privilege to get to welcome you to the tiny taste of Eden that we carve out of what would otherwise be a weed-infested rock garden (ask me how I know).

It is my delight to offer you beauty and delight - and the time to enjoy creation all around you.

It is joyful to get to wrap your bouquets and send you home with a touch of magic to brighten up your week.

Gratitude greets me in the fields and in the flowers and mostly, in my interactions with all of you.

Thank you for making this season such an amazing experience. Thank you for trusting me with your summer memories. Thank you for being a part of the farm and enjoying it with us.

Whether you joined us in the fields for U-Pick, stopped by the farmstand, or settled into the cottage for a quiet getaway, we’re feeling especially grateful for everyone who has been part of Northfarthing.🤎

Good morning from the flower field!

It's our last day of u-picks for the season** and we are full of fresh blooms - sunnies, zinnias, amaranth, bachelor buttons, cosmos, basil, ageratum, globe amaranth, and our first dahlias of the season!

We're open 3 sessions today to make sure you can enjoy the farm.
9-noon this morning
1-4 this afternoon
6-9 this evening

The weather is perfect. The blooms are lovely. Come on out and enjoy the field and spend some time on the farm!

**Psst members - you have access to cutting in the field until the frost is boss so you have 6-8 more weeks of blooms coming your way. Not a member but think 6-8 more weeks sounds dreamy? You know where to find me!

🌻 One last weekend in the flower fields.

This Friday + Saturday is the final U-Pick weekend of the season at Northfarthing Farms— and your last chance to wander the field, pick your favorites, and take a little piece of late summer home with you. 💐

The 10,000+ sq. ft. field is filled with sunflowers and colorful wildflowers, with wide grassy paths made for slowing down and enjoying the view.

Come for a date night, bring the kids, meet up with friends, or simply spend a few quiet hours outside before summer starts slipping into fall.

🌻🌻This is the final weekend for flower u-pick experiences at Northfarthing Farms—and one last opportunity to slow down, wander through the blooms, and celebrate the beauty of the season with us.

So much of life moves quickly. But in the flower field, you can take your time. Follow the pathways, notice the different colors and textures, choose the flowers that speak to you, and create a bouquet that is entirely your own.

Our 10,000+ square foot u-pick field is filled with sunflowers, wildflower varieties, and all the warmth of late summer. Come with your family, plan a date, gather your friends, or enjoy a quiet outing surrounded by nature.

Then take your bouquet home as a little reminder that summer isn’t over quite yet.
