Blue Shutter Property Management is looking for a dependable, hardworking Construction & Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We manage primarily single-family homes, along with a small number of apartments, and we're looking for someone with strong hands-on construction and general maintenance experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and seeing a project through from start to finish.

What You'll Do

Perform general property repairs and maintenance
Complete tenant work orders and maintenance requests
Assist with property renovations and turnovers
Perform drywall repair, painting, trim work, flooring, and basic carpentry
Repair doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and other property components
Assist with remodeling and improvement projects
Perform interior and exterior repairs
Identify maintenance issues and recommend appropriate repairs
Communicate with management regarding completed work and additional repairs needed
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Hands-on construction and property maintenance experience
Experience with residential repairs and renovations
Strong general carpentry and handyman skills
Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Dependability and a strong work ethic
Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Professional communication and a positive attitude
Ability to work in occupied rental properties respectfully and professionally
Experience with drywall, painting, flooring, framing, carpentry, roofing, remodeling, and general residential construction is a plus.
