What does that actually mean to you? Delaying the purchase of a home (or cash out refinance) continues to be costlier with each passing day. Not only do you need to contend with rising home prices, but now you need to contend with rising rates as well. As the chart points out below, at a 2.5% rate you could borrow $630,000 but at 3.0% the same loan can only borrow $590,000... That's a $40,000 swing and could cost you your dream home!
