Architecture is experienced in motion. We shaped this entry sequence as a slow, deliberate procession, using wide limestone steps and a dense natural canopy to frame the arched doors. It is a transition designed to slow you down, making the act of arrival feel entirely intentional.

Every panel, every moulding profile, every geometric intersection overhead tells you something about the care that went into this room.

These images are from a remodel. We opened it up, changed the geometry, and the rooms flow beautifully.

Rounded arches in warm limestone, a patterned cypress ceiling, and the turquoise water beyond. We proportioned the deep shelter to sit quietly between the stone house and the Florida breeze.

This right here is a basement.

We framed this stair hall with ashlar limestone walls and a vaulted brick ceiling supported by heavy timber beams. The custom wrought iron railing, with its hand-forged curves, leads the eye down the stone steps.

Seen from the air, this compound reads less like a building and more like something the landscape grew around. The varied roof forms, the sweeping arrival drive, the formal garden courts nested inside dense tropical planting... we designed each piece to reveal itself in sequence, so arriving here feels less like pulling up to a house and more like being let in on something.

The breakfast nook emerged in the early twentieth century as homes began to celebrate more informal, family-oriented spaces near the kitchen. We are seeing a beautiful resurgence of this tradition today. For this residence, we designed this corner with a curved bay, coffered ceiling, and deep paneled millwork to recreate that classic sense of shelter and slow mornings.

We placed the pergola to diffuse the western sun, providing a sense of place for seating, and allowing for the eye to carry straight to the water.

We wrapped this room in pecky cypress, walls and coffered ceiling alike, and let the material set the tone. A built-in daybed faces the yard through a single window dressed in a botanical roman shade. A backgammon board holds its place at the center. This is a family room in the truest sense, shaped for the hours between plans.

We have long supported the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County, and we were honored to be asked to design this room for the 2020 Kips Bay Palm Beach installation.

We worked through every threshold in the suite until the vanity, water closet, and shower read as one continuous sequence beneath a single ceiling plane. Natural light does the connecting work, bouncing off the patterned surface above and keeping the room from ever feeling closed in.

What looks effortless took considerable patience to get right.
