We know many of you have lots of questions regarding the NAR ruling. I believe it’s still too early to call on what may happen across the industry. I also feel that there are too many companies in our industry that have a lot more to lose: such as Trulia, Zillow and Realtor.com who all make their money selling ads to “Buyers” Agents.
Depending on which local board you belong to, there will be web meetings for the members hosted by the legal advisors to add more clarity. In my opinion, what happened that led to all of this, was the lack of training and supervision in some agencies over their sales associates, and the fact that different States have different rules…which make a “National Association” obselete.
