Originally hailing from Gilroy "The Garlic Capital of the World," California, Kelly Sakai made his way to the Kona side of Hawaii Island after completing studies in American Literature at UC Santa Cruz in 2000. As an avid surfer, photographer, and outdoorsman, Kelly immediately fell into the easygoing rhythm of Kona's mellow pace. Working for the past twenty years within the Big Island hospitality industry, Kelly has been able to maintain the active lifestyle he loves while being able to engage and connect with new island visitors everyday. Other occupations such as landscaping and flooring installation have helped fuel Kelly's interest and appreciation for the artistic and structural nuances of real estate. Kelly received his Hawaii Real Estate license and joined the eXp Realty team in 2020. He can most often be found watching the sunset from his home in the Kona Palisades with his beautiful wife, Francesca.
