72-4071 Akahipuu Place closed this week at $2,995,000, full asking price, in cash. It went into escrow within three days of hitting the market.

This one had a lot of moving parts. My sellers were relocating back to the mainland, and the closing had to line up with family, pets, and shipping containers all in motion at the same time. The timing came together about as well as it possibly could have.

The result started well before listing day. My sellers and I put real time into preparing the property, and I brought in professional photography and video so buyers could see exactly what this place offers: a single-level 2014 home with Venetian plaster, Brazilian teak, and travertine, set on 3.13 terraced acres of gardens, rock walls, and fruit trees looking out over the North Kona coastline.

The best part came from my own Compass office. Kris Hazard represented the buyers, and from the first showing it was clear they were the right people for this home. Knowing it will be cared for the same way my sellers did meant a great deal to all of us.
